Clean Eating: Spicy Black Bean Dip from Trader Joe's Recipe

Yesterday I was at Trader Joe's and was going to buy 4 or 5 jars of their fat free spicy black bean dip but there was only one left. I asked an employee if they had more and she told me the worst thing in the whole world… they were out and so was the warehouse. They don't know when they're getting any more in.

NO!!!! So I decided to try to make my own.

Ingredients on jar:
Black beans
water
tomato paste
onions
distilled vinegar (from corn)
honey
salt
jalapeños
spices
garlic

My Ingredients:
1 can of black beans
2.5 tbsp tomato paste
3 tsp distilled white vinegar
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp honey
1 clove of garlic
1/4 cup jalapeños with splashes of the juice
dashes of salt
some chili powder
splash of lime juice

I threw all ingredients into a cup and blended with my NutriBullet.

I give the recipe about a 4/5. I think I may have pureed everything too much but overall it's fairly similar to the TJ brand!
