Tone It Up recipe: White Chicken Chili

White Chicken Chili


2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
1 clove garlic
1/2 medium yellow onion
1 green bell pepper
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 15.5 oz. can of white beans drained and rinsed
3/4 cup organic chicken broth
1 tablespoon almond meal
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon blak pepper
dash of cinnamon
dash of cayenne pepper


Heat coconut oil in a large skillet on medium. Add onion and garlic until lightly browned. Add diced chicken and spices and cook until chicken is cooked through. Add in green pepper and cook until green pepper is softened.

Add white beans for 5 minutes for the flavors to mash together.
Add almond meal around the pan. 
Pour chicken broth in and stir evenly.
Let simmer until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
The almond meal will act as the "flour" thickener.

Serve and enjoy hot!

To make it husband approved add in: cheese, sriracha and crushed tortilla chips
