The latest and (not so) greatest

Olivia is almost one and last night she woke up at 3am screaming. She hasn't been the best sleeper her whole life but she's never woken up like she did last night. After an hour of changing her diaper, giving her a bottle, rocking with her and signing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' she finally went back to sleep. I should mention I ran out of nursery songs to sing and ended up singing the S'more song to her (now it's stuck in your head, too.)

I climbed back in bed and reached for my phone to google : 1 year old suddenly not sleeping, wakes up screaming

I decided after less than a minute of reading posts that her molars were coming in or she had a nightmare. How did parents do the parent thing without cell phones/internet? Doctor Shmoctor. < That was sarcasm for the newbies.

Rich and I are full time back to work hence the lack of blogging around here. I'll do better, but don't quote me on that one.

This weekend we worked at the Twin Cities Pride festival where the highlight has to be a gal streaking through the park then falling flat on her entire side while running through the mud. And how was YOUR day at work?!

Yesterday we worked at our hometown's annual parade where both Olivia and Biscuit got plenty of love and attention from the little old ladies of the 'ville.

Fire engine sirens + baby + timid dog = anxiety for all

I've had velcro baby on my hands as of late. What's a velcro baby? See below:
Don't even think about putting me down.
Trying to get caffeine in me but she's not having it.

It's been rainy and all over yucky around here but we did have one good swim so far this year (just one, and it's already July) and I just HAVE to share her suit and swim cap. I mean come on!

Ignore the mess, I just told you, I've been busy.

She loved it, I swear. PS: Don't buy this baby floater, the second she leaned forward the entire thing wanted to flip as well.
