HALO Giveaway!

When I try to swaddle Liam in regular blankets he ends up looking like a wadded up roll of paper towels. After roughly a minute and a half of our battle his arms and legs have escaped and he begins wrestling with the air. I suck at swaddling. According to my Facebook friends I think most women do. Why are guys better at it? Rich can quickly burrito Liam up and he's instantly content. I try to watch and take notes but it's pointless.
Enter, the newly designed HALO SwaddleSure!

All the stains show this is obviously a very loved item in our home

Welcome back from under your rock if you've never heard of HALO Swaddles. Halo asked if we'd like to host a review and giveaway of their new SwaddleSure blankets and I immediately said yes! I used the SleepSacks when Olivia was born and loved how I was finally able to swaddle her up to get her to sleep. Both my kids loved to be swaddled. It's that darn startle reflex that jolts them awake. Moms know, it typically happens the minute you sit down and have 5 seconds for yourself.
Key Features
+ The newest member to the HALO Sleep family has a 3-point fastening system for easier and more secure swaddling.
+ The leg "pouch" as I call it allows for hip health. Babies legs don't stretch out quite yet, they're kind of like little frog legs and standard blanket-swaddling doesn't allows allow for that natural way of laying they prefer and need.
+ My favorite part? My absolute favorite part? The leg pouch is easily accessible for a quick wake-up-free diaper changes. What happens every time you finally get baby swaddled in a blanket and set down to sleep? Boom. Blowouts.
Other swaddles will zip all the way up to the neck forcing you to un-swaddle the entire baby for diaper changes. Not the SwaddleSure, no zippers. Hallelujah!
+ It's safe! The key-est of the features. We all know you cannot give babies loose blankets and pillows. This provides comfort with safety. Remember "Back Is Best". If you do happen to forget, it's embroidered right on the leg pouch :)

Not one to let a post go posted without her...

I typically swaddle Liam with just a onesie and a pair of socks. I have a sweater. Sweaty baby. Do most babies sweat as much as mine? He's most comfortable without tons of layers because the 100% cotton fabric is breathable.
I can't wait to get more of these amazing creations. You can find them at Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby. The sports theme is on my shopping list whenever I get the nerve to pack both kids up and leave the house solo. Cringe Face Emoji....
Lucky for you, you don't have to wait if you win.
HALO is offering one lucky reader a chance to win either a pink, blue, or gender neutral SwaddleSure in your choice of size. The giveaway will run for seven days. To win more entries, follow the steps below. No cheating! I check!

Carry on and good luck!

  3. A routine definitely helps, first a warm bath, then swaddle them, and rock them to sleep!

  4. Dude - the leg pouch?? Why didn't everyone think about that. Olivia loved to be swaddled - it was the only thing that would get her to go to sleep. Also the paci. Did your Olivia find another paci she likes - I noticed that's not gumby in the picture.
